Long Melford is north of Sudbury in the county of Suffolk. View map here.
From the South / South West (M25)
Take M25 Junction 27 onto the M11 north. Then take Junction 9 on the M11 onto the A11 (Newmarket). Take the 2nd junction onto A1307 (at the services) towards Haverhill. Continue on A1307 until Wixoe then take A1092 towards Clare. The A1092 will now take you into Long Melford.
From the North (A1)
Take the A1 junction 14 onto the A14 towards Cambridge. Continue on A14 to Bury St Edmunds. Then head south on the A134 towards Sudbury. Take the A1092 at Long Melford and the house is first on the left.
From the East (Ipswich)
From the A14 at Ipswich take the A1071 to Sudbury. Continue through the town and head north on the A134 to Long Melford. Once in Long Melford, the High Street Farm House is the last house on the right, at the north end of the High Street prior to the A134 junction. As you leave Long Melford High St heading north, follow the signs to Kentwell Hall past the green and the church on the left. Go past Kentwell Hall (on the left) our house is the last on the right. You may also reach us by taking the A1092 off the A134 - the house is the first on the left.
The nearest train station is Sudbury (a taxi from the station will cost aprroximately £5-6). Unfortunately, the house is not on a bus route — the closest bus stop being outside the Chemist shop in the village.
