Fantastic welcome with freshly baked scones. Rooms a great size, clean and with great power showers in the en suite. Able to come back after dinner in the pub, walking distance from the B+B, to drink the wine and beer provided in the room. Breakfast consisted of locally sourced eggs and sausages (suberb) and home-made jams. Owners were very helpful - helping us out with directions, extra equipment, etc. Read less

This B+B ticked all the boxes and more. It was better than other local options which were charging up to double the price. (I had family in other hotels so saw their rooms.)

My friend and I stayed here for 1 night in Feb 2012. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Everything was lovely and nothing was too much for Tracey who was extremely nice and helpful. The room had everything you would need as well as extras such as wine and magazines. Our veggie breakfast was perfect and the location is great for Long Melfrod and nearby Lavenham. The room and bathroom were both spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Read less

My room was attractive, comfortable and, most importantly, warm as toast, as my visit coincided with a heavy snowfall. Nothing was too much trouble for Tracy, with lots of attention to detail - real coffee and cake on arrival, plus a small bottle of wine; a wide range of toiletries; home made marmalade and jam for breakfast, with delicious local sausages and masses of information about what to see and do in the area. you were made to feel at home by the owner and nothing was to much trouble for her. the breakfast was perfect with plenty of choice all in all we enjoyed our stay .

Only a very slight niggle with reference to paying. You had to pay cash/cheque and it was explained on a notice in the room but I did not notice it. But as I say only a very small niggle.

lovely welcome,friendly but not intrusive. Seriously good coffee(most welcome),lovely cake on arrival. Wine,beer,mineral water & sweets all in room. Comfy bed.Selection of toiletries in clean bathroom
